Generic Blow-Off Valve - RFL Style

This BOV offers an affordable alternative to get great performance! The blowoff valve is a requisite part in a turbo-charged engine as it relirves pressure when you take you foot off the gas to shift gears or slow down - well, the turbos don't just turn off so are still pushing a lot of air, and if that air can't go into the engine (throttle plate is closed with foot off the gas) then it will back-wash into the turbo (literally causing it to stop!) and can severly damage the turbo bearings. The BOV releases that pressure from the intake system, and this RFL Style BOV makes it sound great! It's adjustable for various boost levels by screwing the top off and dropping in washers to increase the spring tension. Comes as a complete kit as shown.

NOTE: This is an open-loop style BOV (releases to the atmosphere) and you will need a plug to plug the hole left inthe intake system if you are replacing your stock valve. We offer various adapter kits separately.
